List of freelance English-speaking drivers

Not sure whom to contact?
E-mail me and I'll call these guys to see who is available.
Or I may even put on the driver's hat myself.

new JUST GOT SKYPE: Uncle_Pasha_2011

Alexander Voronkov. Conveniently located at the beginning of Kutuzovsky, in the area liked by travellers (Hotel Ukraina, Hotel Radisson Slavyanskaya, World Trade Center). Alexander has been on this list for years. Excellent client feedback. Available weekends and nights. >>

--------------

Osama. Perhaps the most cheerful of drivers. Pick him if you need "good attitude"  >>

--------------

Alexey Malyutin >>

--------------

Maxim. This driver is a qualified translator. The vehicle is a luxury minivan. Minimum four hours, advance notice required, and airport rides and such are below Maxim's dignity. God-awful EXPENSIVE ($80-something per hour) but hiring him will make every sense if you are travelling in a large group.   >>

--------------

Vitaly Nefedov. New to the list (added in September 2011) but already got positive feedback. >>

--------------

Alexander Kostin. New to the list, no client feedback yet. Available weekends. >>

--------------

"Cheap Anthony" (cheap-anthony@bk.ru) recently wrote asking to be added to this list with his $25 per airport transfer offer. Don't get excited, the offer is misleading, and I'm adding this to my list only as an illustration of the Russian style of presenting information. All other drivers on this list have a simple rate structure ($80 per airport transfer including parking and waiting, or $25/hour, min. 3 hours, for other jobs). Cheap Anthony's self-description >>

Alexandra Goryashko. I tried to make a driver out of her but instead enriched myself by acquiring first-hand knowledge of just how it feels to fly off the road, jump over a ditch, and knock down a few trees in the Sokolniki park. So we gave up on the idea. Instead Alexandra returned back into her natural role of a dispatcher, an organizer, and a provider of information support, first for the old muddled disoriented me. If you hire me as a driver you will also enjoy the benefits of Alexandra's backing.

If you need anything researched or located, Alexandra is the one for the job.

Finally, this is me, the famous Uncle Pasha. When business is slow or when my brains turn just too mushy to do any real work I put on the driver's hat. The car is Alexandra's Land Rover. Yes, the one mentioned above. Actually, the accident, despite extensive damage outside, felt quite smooth inside the vehicle. The old truck is equipped for long-distance out-of-town trips, including winter travel and such contingencies as spending a night in a ditch at minus 40. A camper is available for those wanting to do some serious countryside touring in a cheap yet comfortable manner. But I will not view airport pickups to be below my dignity either. Moscow orientation, questions answered, assistance with tickets, help if things don't go as planned etc. etc. Write to paul_voytinsky@yahoo.com or, if the matter can't wait, call +7 985 217 3241 but please remember the time difference when calling!

No money to pay? Want to make friends? Can you help my students with English conversation practice? Are you intelligent, energetic, and talkative? Can you correct them just enough to make them improve, without scaring them into silence. Then read this or leave a notice on my board. Same, actually, applied to accommodation seekers. >>

People with cars, English, good knowledge of Moscow and of course the right personality for driving as an odd job! I can add you to this list based on a recommendation by travellers, especially if the traveller who recommends you is our mutual client.  After you are on this list I strongly encourage you to send a description of who you are and WHAT MAKES YOU SPECIAL. Knowledge of Moscow and helpful attitude are essential. Taxi driver is not the type to see on the list. These days it takes much more than having a car and being able to explain yourself in English to attract clients.
